This depends on the style of portrait you would like. If you'd like your portrait as a close up head shot of your pet, then I will need a close up, detailed image with good lighting.

Absolutely. Chalk pastels are incredibly sensitive to touch and portraits should be framed immediately after receiving. Framing should include a mat so the art is not directly touching the glass service. Mats are included so you will only need to purchase a frame!

*Mat/frame sizes listed below are standard. Please message me if you'd like your mat to be a different size!*

8" x 11" portraits include an all white mat that frames to 11" x 14". 

9" x 12" portraits include an all white mat that frames to 12" x 16"

12" x 16" portraits include an all white mat that frames to 16x20".

Custom work may need to be professionally matted and framed depending on requested size of artwork. Please contact me for all custom orders!

Standard frames can be purchased anywhere (i.e., Michael's, Hobby Lobby, online retailers).
